The 1st international conference on waste management, Recycle 2016, took place on April 1st and 2nd, 2016. The keynote lectures for conference were given by eminent people in waste management like, Prof. Amiya Kumar Sahu (Challenges & Opportunities in Solid Waste Management), Prof. G. Krishnamoorthy (Collection & Recycling of Waste in San Diego USA), Prof. Ranjith Dissanayake (Sustainable Solution for Flood Damaged Bridge), Prof. Babu Alappat (Waste to Energy: Options, Opportunities and Challenges), and Prof. M Narayana Rao (Solid Waste Management in India-Some Case Studies). Recycle 2016 saw an active participation from about 228 enthusiastic national and international participants from various backgrounds.
