Recycle 2018, the 2nd international conference on Waste Management, was conducted between 22nd and 24th February 2018. The invited lectures for Recycle 2016 were given by, Mr. V.K. Jindal (Status of Swacch Bharat Mission), Prof. Pascaline Pre (Biomass Derived Carbon Adsorbents for Environmental and Energy Applications), Prof. Shyamala Mani (Waste Management and Environmental Health), Prof. Babu Alappat (Philosophy of Waste to Energy Initiatives in India), Prof. Agamuthu P (Issues and Challenges of Waste Management and Recycling in Asia), Prof. JWC Wong (Biological Treatment for Sustainable Food Waste Management), Dr B.K. Dubey (Life Cycle Assessment- Introduction and its Applications in Waste Management), Prof. Kazmi AA (Wastewater Treatment in India: Accomplishment and Challenges), Dr. Vimal Katiyar (Compostable Plastics for Commodity, Engineering and Biomedical Applications), and Dr. Jiwan Singh (Hydrometallurgical Recovery of Valuable Metal Resource from the Solid Waste). Recycle 2018 saw participation from about 191 enthusiastic national and international participants from various backgrounds.
