Ms Roopa Mishra is an accomplished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from Odisha.Ms Roopa Mishra, has had an illustrious career as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, serving in various districts of India in different capacities. She has been a sub-collector, collector, and district magistrate, earning accolades for her outstanding work and dedication to public service. Her contributions to the country have been recognized through numerous awards and honors. Currently, Ms Mishra is serving as the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, where she continues to make a significant impact by overseeing important initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people in urban areas.

Prof. Agamuthu Pariatamby
Professor, Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development
He is currently affiliated with the Jeffrey Sachs Center, where he specializes in solid and hazardous waste management. Professor Agamuthu is also a Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology High-Level End Foreign Expert. After serving as a Senior Professor at the University of Malaya for 44 years, he joined Sunway University to further his research interests.

Prof. Absar Ahmad Kazmi
Professor, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
Professor Kazmi is a distinguished scholar and senior professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Roorkee. His expertise has been instrumental in shaping the direction of research in these fields, and he has worked on numerous projects with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), as a member of various expert committees, principal committees, and joint inspection committees established by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to examine critical cases. In 2022, Professor Kazmi was appointed as a Member of the Expert Committee for the PHE Sector Development Scheme by the Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organization (CPHEEO), under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

Dr. Sahadat Hossain is a Professor of Civil Engineering Department and Director of Solid Waste Institute for Sustainability (SWIS) at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Hossain has more than 25 (twenty-five) years of professional and research experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering. Dr. Hossain’s research experience includes slope stability analysis, innovative slope stabilization techniques, assessment of geo-hazard potential, and recycled aggregate materials for base and sub-base applications, pavement crack mitigation, and sustainable waste management.

Prof. Babu J Alappat

Professor Alappat is a highly respected scholar and academician who has made significant contributions in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Dr Alappat is currently a Professor with the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where he has been teaching since the year 2000. Dr. Dubey is currently associated with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, where he teaches and conducts research in the field of sustainable engineering, integrated waste management, and circular economy. He is also a sought-after consultant, having worked with several government agencies in various countries on environmental projects.
Dr. Dubey's contributions to the field of environmental engineering have been widely recognized, and he has worked with renowned organizations such as the United Nations, National Geographic Society, and the World Bank on environmental projects in emerging and developing countries. His work in the areas of sustainable engineering, integrated waste management, and circular economy has earned him several accolades, including the prestigious Endeavour Executive Fellowship awarded by the Australian Government.
